Prior to the start of the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., which draws hundreds of thousands in support of the dignity of life, more than 20,000 individuals attended a youth rally at the Verizon Center. Locally, schools such as Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore and Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville were among those in attendance. Priests and bishops, including Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore, celebrated a Mass for life.
