Hispanic Youth Ministry

The Role of a Youth Minister

  • To facilitate youth ministry defined by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops as “the response of the Christian community to the needs of young people, and the sharing of the unique gifts of youth with the larger community” [Renewing the Vision. Washington, D.C.: United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, 1997.]
  • To engage the entire youth community from every socio-economic and cultural background. To do this, youth ministers need the help of the whole Church and greater community. Below are informative resources that help us embrace multiculturalism and enable the work of the Church to be truly reflective of Jesus’ love for all mankind.
