Writers question editorial choices

Every week we pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and the religious life.

In light of this, we feel compelled to write to question the editorial choices of your newspaper. Why would a joyful story of religious celebrating their jubilees be relegated to page 7 while an enormous portrait of one man appears on the front cover?

And if the choice was made to highlight Catholic schools week, why are the students and teachers faded into the background when they are the true story?
