Ursuline sister taught in Cumberland schools

A funeral Mass for Ursuline Sister Annalita Fox will be offered at the order’s motherhouse chapel in Louisville, Ky., May 27. Sister Annalita, 92, died May 21 at Sacred Heart Home in Louisville, her hometown.
She entered the Ursuline Sisters in 1943, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Ursuline College (now Bellarmine University) and a master’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, both in elementary education.
Her service included two stints in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. In Cumberland, Sister Annalita taught at the parish schools at Ss. Peter and Paul from 1948 to 1952 and St. Mary from 1964 to 1965. Her teaching ministry also included service at schools in Evansville, Ind.; Louisville; and Conemaugh and Pittsburgh, Pa.
