‘Super Dreams’: Oak Crest residents pay tribute to Baltimore Super Bowl season

Schools, businesses, individuals and organizations throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore are sharing their enthusiasm for the Baltimore Ravens.

Some 60 residents of Oak Crest Retirement Community in Parkville got together to create a video ‘Super Dreams.”

Gene Miller, 71, and one of the stars of the video, said, “I’ve been a Baltimore sports fan since 1965, and this year’s Ravens team has been as exciting as any I’ve seen.”

“From Purple Fridays to game-day viewing, Oak Crest residents have enjoyed cheering on the team,” he said.

The video was directed by Josh Runkles, manager of WOCV, the in-house television station at Oak Crest, and his team.

“For fans of all ages, sports are all about dreams: taking the field, making the play and winning the big game,” described Ernie Rehmeyer, an Oak Crest resident who appeared in the video. “It’s been fun to see everyone around town cheer on the Ravens to the Super Bowl. They’ll get the job done in New Orleans!”
