On Tuesday, June 27th on a rainy night in Baltimore, the cloudy skies parted for a few hours while over 800 city-wide parishioners and guests gathered for a joyful and prayerful vigil at Cathedral of Mary Our Queen to celebrate the culmination of a year of Listening to the voices of our diverse parish communities.  The evening was blessed with strong fellowship, praise, moving worship, and a chance to reflect and share feedback from our parish communities. Inspired by Archbishop Lori’s call to unity in mission as we Seek the City to Come, our City Church through the loving grace of God launched jubilantly into the Envisioning phase of the Mission.

For those who attended, please accept a most gracious and heartfelt gratitude for sharing your time, prayers and loving spirit during the evening’s celebration. For those who were unable to attend, or anyone interested in having another look at the Listening feedback that was shared, the Seek the City Team will hold 2 separate sessions to share the feedback.  Both sessions are in English/Spanish.  If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Seekthecity@archbalt.org for either session:

  • July 19th session (St. Matthew Catholic Church – 5401 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore 21239 – 6:30pm-7:30pm);  or
  • July 26th session (New All Saints Church – 4408 Liberty Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD 21207 – 6:30pm-7:30pm)

As we embrace the Envisioning Phase of the mission, we are blessed for your consistent and passionate voice as we move forward together in God’s grace toward a new Vision for our City Church.

Dates for the Fall Envisioning Sessions will be posted by late summer 2023.
