St. Bernardine in West Baltimore hosts youth revival tonight

Via the Archdiocese of Baltimore

St. Bernardine Catholic Church in West Baltimore, in conjunction with St. Frances Academy, the oldest Catholic school for African-American children in the United States, will host its scheduled revival this evening from 7-8:30 p.m.

The revival will feature music, scripture readings, and preaching by Bishop Designate Gina Dorsey of A Kingdom Place for Me, an outreach ministry for women and youth.

The event is especially designed for the children of the parish and the students of St. Frances Academy, who will dress in their uniform of jeans and white shirt and who insisted the event take place as scheduled despite the violence and protests that have taken place in recent days.

The Revival will end earlier than scheduled so that those present will be home by the City-enforced curfew.

St. Bernardine Parish is located at 3800 Edmondson Avenue in Baltimore.
