Parishioners of St. Benedict in Baltimore will take to the streets in song Dec. 18 as they go caroling through the neighborhood. They will be singing from 1 to 4 p.m. and will provide blessed Christmas cookies to all homes visited.
“We did this last year with a powerful response from the community,” said parishioner Joe Ford.
From 5 to 8 p.m., a special program will be held in front of the church at 2612 Wilkens Ave. A searchlight will be positioned over the church, highlighting a live nativity, a hospitality table and the caroling on the steps of the church.
