Sister Mary Theresia Bednarik, S.S.N.D.

A funeral Mass for Sister Mary Theresia Bednarik, S.S.N.D., was offered March 8 in the chapel at Villa Notre Dame in Wilton, Conn. Sister Mary Theresia – a native of New York City – died March 3. She was 95.

An educator in Catholic schools for most of her career, Sister Mary Theresia entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1928. She taught first and second grades at St. Leo School, Baltimore, from 1928 to 1930, and grades two through six at St. Wenceslaus School, Baltimore, from 1931 to 1954.
