Sister M. Antoinette Bosak, IHM, taught at Catonsville parish school

 A funeral Mass for Sister M. Antoinette Bosak, of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, was offered Jan. 24 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. Sister Antoinette was 94 when she died there Jan 27.
Born in Clarence, Pa., she entered her order in 1940 and made her final profession of vows in 1946. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from what is now Marywood University in Scranton, and was active in that ministry for 70 years, from teaching at St. Mary of the Mount Elementary School in Pittsburgh in 1943, to a teaching assistant at Notre Dame Elementary School in East Stroudsburg, Pa., in 2013. From 1952 to 1957, she taught at St. Agnes School in Catonsville. In addition to Maryland and Pennsylvania, she also taught in New York.
From 2013 until her death, Sister Antoinette served as a prayer minister at Our Lady of Peace Residence.
