Sister Claire Grieco, M.P.F., dies

A funeral Mass for Sister Claire Grieco, a member of the Religious Teachers Filippini, will be offered Oct. 14 at Villa Walsh in Morristown, N.J.
Sister Claire died Oct. 8 in Morristown after a long battle with cancer. She was 83.
Born in Long Branch, N.J., Sister Claire entered the Religious Teachers Filippini in 1949. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Fordham University and attended Rider University for Business Education.
In the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Sister Claire taught at Our Lady of Pompei School in Highlandtown from 1955 to 1957. She also served in New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
