Garrett Conley, a student at Resurrection-St. Paul School in Ellicott City, represented the Archdiocese of Baltimore July 9, when it received the “Heavy Hitter Award” from the Baltimore Orioles during a pre-game ceremony at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The award goes to groups that sell more than 250 tickets to a single game. Employees and parishioners from the archdiocese were among the crowd which saw the Orioles lose to the Washington Nationals, 6-2, but maintain their first-place standing in the American League East.
