Respect Life Sunday Honored Throughout Archdiocese

Sunday, October 3 marks Respect Life Sunday, the Catholic Church’s annual education effort focusing on the sanctity of human life. Cardinal William H. Keeler, Chairman of the Committee for Pro-Life Activities, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, will commemorate the day by celebrating Mass at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland at 9:15 a.m. At the Mass, the Cardinal will also award the Culture of Life Medal of Honor to a Catholic who has been an outstanding advocate for the dignity of every human life.

In addition to the Respect Life Mass held at the Cathedral, the following events are scheduled to mark Respect Life Sunday elsewhere in the Archdiocese:
