Funeral arrangements

Wednesday, Sept. 9
Viewing from 2 to 9 p.m. with a vigil Mass at 7:30 p.m. – Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary,  Baltimore
Thursday, Sept. 10
Viewing from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. – Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary,  Baltimore

A reception at the Catholic Center will follow the funeral Mass. Due to limited parking around the basilica, bus transfers from the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles Street, will operate from 9 to 10:30 a.m. before the Mass and again immediately following the Mass until all have been returned to their vehicles.  For those attending the reception at the Catholic Center, bus transportation will be available following the reception.

Friday, Sept. 11
Interment at St. Michael’s cemetery, Frostburg, 11:30 a.m.

Contributions in memory of Monsignor Valenzano may be made to the Basilica Historic Trust, 409 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 or Catholic Charities, 320 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
