Raising money through golf

Golfers will be teeing off June 18 to raise money for St. Agnes HealthCare, Baltimore, in the 29th Annual St. Agnes Foundation/Crothall Healthcare Golf Classic. The tournament will be held at Turf Valley and Waverly Woods Golf Courses.

The event will feature golf contests such as putting, hole-in-one, closest to the pin and longest drive. A silent and live auction will take place as well. After playing 18 holes, golfers are invited to the awards ceremony and reception at Turf Valley where they can relax and network with business leaders from around the area.

Registration at Waverly Woods states at 7:15 a.m. and registration at Turf Valley begins at 7:45 a.m.. Registration fees begin at $275 for individual golfers. For more information visit www.stagnes.org or call 410-368-3155.
