Archbishop Valerian Okeke of Onitsha, Nigeria, will celebrate a special 12th anniversary Mass for the Nigerian Igbo Catholic Community of Baltimore on April 27 at St. Matthew, Northwood. The Mass will be followed by a reception beginning at 5 p.m.
The archbishop’s visit corresponds with the 2008 Igbo Catholic Community USA National Convention April 25-27.
There will be an anniversary gala and fundraising dinner April 26 at St. Anthony of Padua in Baltimore.
