National Prayer Vigil, March for Life Scheduled January 23-24, 2005

Cardinal William H. Keeler, Archbishop of Baltimore, will preside as Celebrant and Homilist at the National Prayer Vigil for Life on Sunday, January 23, 2005 at 8 p.m. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, located at 400 Michigan Avenue, NE Washington, D.C.

Cardinal Keeler, Chairman of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop’s Committee for Pro-Life Activities, will also attend the Rally for Life on Monday, January 24 at 9 a.m. at the MCI Sports Arena and con-celebrate the accompanying Youth Mass, which begins at 10 a.m.

Following the Mass, Cardinal Keeler will participate in the March for Life, which begins at noon will a rally on the grounds of the Washington Monument, followed by a march to Capitol Hill and the Supreme Court.
