Mount de Sales named to “Top 50” list

For the fourth consecutive year, Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville has been recognized by the Catholic High School Honor Roll as one of the “top 50” Catholic schools in the country – the only all-girls school in the nation to be included on the list four years in a row. For the third year, Mount de Sales Academy has been placed in the “Top 25” category for Catholic identity.

The purpose of the Honor Roll is to recognize and encourage excellence in Catholic secondary education. It recognizes schools that excel in academic excellence, Catholic Identity and civic education. The Honor Roll is produced in consultation with a national advisory board comprised of Catholic college presidents and noted Catholic scholars. All of the nation’s nearly 1,300 Catholic high schools were invited to apply to the Honor Roll by completing three detailed surveys.
