Meet the staff: CRMedia announces new hires

Catholic Review Media (CRMedia), publisher of the Catholic Review and CatholicReview.org, announces the recent addition of four new staff members.
Staff Writer
Erik Zygmont comes to the Review from the Baltimore Guide, where he served as editor. A native of Salem, N.H., he attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass., and then Tufts University in Medford, Mass., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English. Erik, his wife, Stacy Eakes, their two children and dog live in East Baltimore, where he attends Our Lady of Pompeii in Highlandtown.




Visual Journalist
Karen Osborne, who holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y., previously worked for The Evangelist in Albany, N.Y., and Florida Catholic in Orlando. She contributes the “Coming of Age” column for Catholic News Service. She is a parishioner of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland, where her, husband, Glenn, is the director of music.




Social Media Specialist
Baltimore native Maureen Cromer grew up in St. Mark’s Parish in Catonsville, where she is still a parishioner. A 2011 graduate of The Seton Keough High School in Baltimore, Cromer earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fla., where she played NCAA Division II lacrosse and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha women’s fraternity. 



Senior Graphic Artist
Sara Goldscher previously worked at Segall Group Commercial Real Estate in Pikesville and the Baltimore Country Club. A parishioner of Church of the Nativity in Timonium, she grew up in Lutherville, graduated from Towson High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, where she majored in visual and performing arts.
