As Loyola College in Maryland, Baltimore, graduating seniors prepare to leave the Charles Street campus, the college’s Good Stuff Campaign ensures unwanted household items will make their way to those in need.
Volunteers from the college’s Center for Community Service and Justice have been accepting donations of clothing, dishes, small appliances, school supplies and unopened, non-perishable food as students clean up to move out of residence halls.
On May 17, local agencies including National Children’s Center and Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake will bring trucks to accept donations and distribute them to agencies such as the St. Ambrose Center, YANA Place, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Health Care for the Homeless and others.
