Interested in becoming a deacon?

Men considering the diaconate are invited to learn about the formation program and admission requirements.

Presentations about the diaconate are from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 8 at St. Joseph Parish in Hagerstown and from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 10 at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Roland Park.

Spouses are encouraged to attend.

The following men, who have begun their three years of the candidacy, followed by one year of aspirancy, have petitioned Baltimore Archbishop William E. Lori as candidates for holy orders to the diaconate: James M. Cyr, John Czajkowski, Carlos L. Dutan, Mark J. Herbkersman, Daniel O. Kennedy, Paul A. Nicholas, John J. Oliver, Robert R. Price, Scott P. Rose, Raymond T. Van Pelt and Frank W. Ziegler.
