Grief Ministry

Through a network of volunteers from churches, schools, universities and other organizations, the goal of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Grief Ministry is to accompany families who have lost a loved one to violence.

If you are troubled by the tragic loss of life in Baltimore City, and wondering how you can help, please consider volunteering for the Archdiocese’s Grief Ministry to offer support and healing to families in Baltimore City who have lost a loved one to violence. In conjunction with other agencies and nonprofits, the Grief Ministry invites parish communities to provide assistance, such as prayers, sympathy notes, food, baby items and other support as needed to families.
