Fundraiser to be culturally diverse event

The St. Matthew, Northwood, Immigration Center is holding a fundraiser April 23 at Gertrude’s Restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art in Charles Village called “Savor the World,” and it will celebrate a menagerie of cultures.

The $50-per-ticket event will include dancers from different ethnic groups, a steel pan band, a silent auction featuring children’s art from foreign countries and food from eight different ethnic restaurants.

The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door.
