Father C. Lou Martin to lead Glen Burnie parishes

After ministering as pastor of St. Clare in Essex since 2009, Father C. Lou Martin, 63, will become pastor of Holy Trinity, Church of the Crucifixion and Church of the Good Shepherd, all in Glen Burnie, July 1.
Ordained in 1976, Father Martin was first assigned to St. Michael the Archangel in Overlea as an associate pastor for seven years before taking the same role at St. Rita in Dundalk for six years. In 1989, he served as temporary administrator at St. Timothy in Walkersville before becoming pastor of St. Lawrence in Dickeyville, which has since formed a new parish, St. Gabriel, with the Shine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Woodlawn. From 1995 to 2009, he was pastor of St. Anthony of Padua/Most Precious Blood in Baltimore.
