The Promise of Hope Candlelight Tours at the Seton Shrine

Holiday tours featuring the life and times of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton open on November 30 and run through early December. This year’s theme, The Promise of Hope, focuses on Mother Seton’s deep love of Christ and how it inspired her to devote her life to helping those in need. Guests are invited to stroll down illuminated walkways to the historic homes to be met by interpreters in period attire who will take them back to the year 1818 and the Sisters of Charity and their students as they prepare activities to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
