Dedication Ceremony Held Thursday for “Peace Pole” at Baltimore Catholic School

Students and teachers at St. Ambrose Catholic School in Baltimore’s Park Heights community will gather around the school’s new “peace pole” when it is blessed on Thursday, October 6 at 10 a.m.

“We decided to plant a peace pole as part of our focus on peace in our community,” said Pamela Sanders, Principal. “In the Franciscan tradition, we focus on being instruments of peace. This peace pole will be a public statement that we stand for peace.”

St. Ambrose Catholic Church is staffed by the Franciscan Friars. Fr. Paul Zaborowski will bless the peace pole at tomorrow’s ceremony.

St. Ambrose is located at 4506 Park Heights Avenue.
