Cumberland Sister celebrates golden jubilee

Cumberland native Sister Dolores Hudson, O.S.U., was one of 22 Ursuline Sisters who celebrated 50 years as an Ursuline Sister of Louisville, Ken.
Sister Dolores grew up in St. Mary, Cumberland, parish and entered the Ursulines in 1957. She taught at SS. Peter and Paul, Cumberland, from 1968-1977 and returned to serve as principal of St. John Neumann School from 1987-1997. Her current ministry is in Louisville at the Marian Home, the licensed nursing facility for the sisters, where she serves as coordinator of the aging sisters.
