I read Father Joseph Breighner’s “Real prayers for peace” (January, CR) with concern. There were prayers representing other faiths that are in direct opposition to Jesus Christ. Anything that does not lead in Jesus’ direction is from the antichrist, whether it is prayers, songs, books or television shows. In 2 John 1:10, we read, “If anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring the teaching of Christ, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting.” I grew up in an evangelical home setting. The above is what I base my life on.
