Calvert Hall’s peer ministry group will be honored by the Baltimore Ravens and the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism at the Ravens first home game Sept. 10 at M&T Bank Stadium.
The group is the recipient of the 13th annual Honor Rows Program, which honors youth groups or organizations with outstanding volunteer service.
Winning groups receive tickets to a game, T-shirts, a pre-game on-field visit and in-game recognition.
Honorees were selected by a panel from the GOSV, Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank staff. Winning organizations have demonstrated a commitment to serving the local community.
Calvert Hall’s junior quarterback, Colar Kuhns, will participate with senior receivers Logan Kurek and Kyle Levere in the Quarterback Challenge Sept. 10.
The Ravens, in partnership with local Toyota dealers and the Maryland Football Coaches Association, will recognize outstanding local high school quarterbacks.
At home games this season, the challenge will showcase two of the top high school quarterbacks from Maryland, who will have two chances to throw passes to his receivers, with the longest completion winning.
