Archbishop William E. Lori, Chancellor of Education, Mr. James Sellinger, and Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Dr. Barbara McGraw Edmondson, will greet students at Frederick County Catholic schools during a special liturgy at St. John Regional School on Monday, February 1st at 10 a.m.
Catholic Schools Week, which began in 1974, is a national week-long observance that begins on Sunday, January 31st. The theme “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service,” highlights the hallmarks of Catholic education.
Representatives of Mother Seton School, St. John’s Catholic Prep, St. Thomas More Academy and Visitation Academy will join students, faculty and staff from St. John’s Regional School for the Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Lori and area clergy.
