Statement from Archbishop William E. Lori on the shooting deaths at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas:
“In this moment of profound grief as a nation — and unthinkable pain for the families in Uvalde, Texas — we must pray and implore God to offer the strength, comfort and peace only He can provide. May He bless us to be free from such fear and violence as the families at Robb Elementary School have suffered today in this senseless act of violence.”
