Archbishop Lori asks for prayers for victims of accident near Shrine of Little Flower

Feb. 21, 2024

Dear Friends in Christ,

This morning, outside of the Shrine of the Little Flower, in Northeast Baltimore, a terrible motor vehicle accident took the lives of three people including a child. News such as this should prompt us to prayer as we think of the terrible grief that is doubtlessly felt by their loved ones and the collective sorrow of our entire community.

As people of faith, we place all of this at the foot of the cross, praying for comfort and peace. Jesus, crucified and risen, welcome these, your children in your Kingdom and be with their families and our community, today and always.

Faithfully in Christ,

Most Reverend William E. Lori
Archbishop of Baltimore
