Appalled at Ranger Rosary comments

I am appalled at the comments of Patrick J. Clancy concerning the name given to the “Ranger Rosaries” (CR, April 19). U.S. Army Rangers are not “killers.”
They are soldiers who sacrifice much for our liberty. Mr. Clancy is entitled to free speech, thanks to many men who fought for that right, but he has no right to vilify the Rangers. Their mission is not to “kill,” but to defend the people of the United States. I doubt if Mr. Clancy has ever had anyone to give his life for him, except Jesus Christ and an American soldier.
