Lobby Night is Feb. 16

By Catholic Review Staff

Catholics throughout the state will converge on Annapolis Feb. 16 to learn about legislative issues and meet their lawmakers during the 31st annual Catholic Lobby Night.

The Presidents’ Day event will begin with a 2:30 p.m. prayer service led by the state’s Catholic bishops at St. John Neumann in Annapolis. Issue briefings will follow on topics related to respect for life, social concerns and education.

Shuttles between the State House and St. John Neumann will be provided throughout the day as participants meet with their lawmakers in downtown Annapolis. A light meal will also be provided. The event is free, but registration is required.

Visit the Maryland Catholic Conference to register.
