Sister Angela Killmeier, O.S.U.

A funeral Mass for Ursuline Sister Angela Killmeier was offered Sept. 25 at her community’s motherhouse in Louisville, Ky. Sister Angela died Sept. 21. She was 95.
A native of Louisville, Sister Angela entered the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville in 1936, first taking the name Sister Walburga before later returning to the use of her baptismal name. An educator, Sister Angela taught at St. Mary parish school in Cumberland from 1953 to 1956. She also taught in Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Pennsylvania.
