Join bishops in Year of Faith effort

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops launched a National Prayer Movement for the Year of Faith, which ends Nov. 24. The USCCB asks all people of faith to join the movement to pray for our nation, life marriage and religious liberty. Prayer is holy, patriotic, efficacious, a spiritual work of mercy, and it works when all else fails.

The USCCB would like their handout to be printed, copied and handed out everywhere, and it is also to be used for parish bulletin inserts. Visit usccb.org/life-marriage-liberty, go to “Join the Movement,” and follow the prompt to “click here for a one page handout.” Print, copy and hand it out to everyone. The bishops ask for more eucharistic holy hours, more daily holy rosaries by families and individuals and more fasting and abstinence. Everyone can do some of these holy activities to some degree.
