A cyber security specialist, a soldier, a veterinarian and a jeweler were among the 20 professionals who demonstrated their work during Career Day at St. Joan of Arc School, Aberdeen, Oct. 3. Later in the day, students enjoyed outdoor displays featuring a fire engine, patrol car and even some farm animals. After the day’s events, students were excited about possible future professions.
“Career Day is a wonderful opportunity for our students to get a glimpse at some fascinating career possibilities available to them,” Virginia Bahr, principal of St. Joan of Arc School, said. “On a day like today, students can see how their everyday classwork can relate to future careers.”
