George Weigel will present a lecture based on his book, “Pope Benedict XVI and the future of the Catholic Church,” March 14 beginning at 7 p.m. in the parish center of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, Homeland.
Sponsored by the Baltimore Guild of the Catholic Medical Association, the event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Marie-Alberte Boursiquot, president of the Baltimore Guild, said a question and answer session will follow Mr. Weigel’s talk.
“This is our highlight lecture of the year,” she said.
Mr. Weigel is a Baltimore native and biographer of Pope John Paul II. He is a senior fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C.
The Baltimore Guild of the Catholic Medical Association is made up of about 80 Catholic physicians, dentists, medical students and others interested in the medical field.
