Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Ilchester receives a civility award

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Ilchester received a civility award from Howard County.

Inspired by the book “Choosing Civility: The 25 Rules of Considerate Conduct,” by Johns Hopkins University Professor P.M. Forni, Howard County selected 15 principles of civility and developed supporting initiative components to infuse civil behavior into their businesses, communities and personal lives.

The Our Lady of Perpetual Help school community was chosen due to its ability to embrace and exemplify principles of civility: speaking kindly, inclusiveness, accepting and giving praise, taking responsibility and acknowledging others.
