Mental Health Awareness Ministry – St. Dymphna Prayer Group

Mental Health Awareness Ministry, St. John the Evangelist, Severna Park, Md., invites you and your loved ones who live with the challenge of a mental illness or caregivers of those with mental illness to their St. Dymphna Prayer Group on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11a.m. in the Parish Office Great Room. A light lunch will follow. This is a place where individuals living with mental health challenges feel safe and supported with a sense of belonging. An RSVP to Cathy Sitzwohl at SJEMHAEvent@gmail.com will enable us to plan for lunch, although it is not required. If you are feeling called to serve on the MHA Ministry team or would like information about being a part of the team, please contact Cathy at the same email. This year, we are planning for next year and welcome your ideas about ways to make the community more aware of mental health challenges.
