Retreat: Whispers of Grace – Exploring Our Stories for Authenticity

This is a retreat to allow silence to still us. In doing so, we can listen attentively to our life’s myths, metaphors, meanings, and mysteries.

Then, with compassion and courage, we may embrace the ambiguities of imperfection. We may write, with more clarity and conviction, our soul stories of wholeness and holiness.

Interweaving Scripture, insights from various contemporary authors, and spiritualities, as well as options to write and share personal stories, this retreat will maintain a sacred space. Guided by Sr. Sara Dwyer.

This is a silent retreat. Check-in begins at 4pm. There will be a brief welcome session at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner at 6pm. The retreat begins after dinner at 7pm on Sunday and concludes before lunch on Saturday.

Sr. Sara Dwyer, ASC has been a member of the Sisters, Adorer of the Blood of Christ, an International Congregation, for 53 years. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Washington Retreat House in Washington, DC.
