Everyone of a certain age has recollections of Nov. 22, 1963, the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
Similarly, most Americans recall where they were and what they were doing the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, when al-Qaida terrorists took hostage four commercial jets. Two were flown into the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in Manhattan, and another was flown into the Pentagon. Passengers fought back on the other, which went down in Western Pennsylvania. All told, the attacks took nearly 3,000 lives.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the attacks.
