Archbishop William E. Lori has defined promoting racial justice as a key part of being missionary disciples. Therefore, those who are invested with leadership and influence shall be fully engaged in this initiative.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore created The Journey to Racial Justice Coordinating Council. It is comprised of senior level staff throughout the Archdiocese to support this archdiocesan-wide initiative. This includes the archdiocesan Pastoral Center as well as the parochial, educational, health care and social service institutions in the Archdiocese. Members of this council include:
