Young people in the Church are active agents of the Gospel. Through mission, they offer up their gifts to help build God’s eternal Kingdom and to realize their own callings towards justice and reconciliation. Appeal grants are available to help pay the salaries of archdiocesan youth ministers, leading to transformational adults who have a passion for empowering young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today. During the current pandemic, youth ministry has continued to inspire and empower young people to reach their friends with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As experts in social media and the online landscape, youth are coming into their own place in the Church and in many ways leading the way. More than ever, youth are essential to the mission of the Catholic Church.
