2012 Knott Scholars announced

Twenty-one boys and girls in the Archdiocese of Baltimore have been awarded 2012 Knott scholarships. Funded by the Marion Burk Knott Scholarship Fund and the Marion I. and Henry J. Knott Scholarship Fund, the awards have an estimated four-year tuition value of more than $1 million.
According to a news release, scholarships are awarded to the highest-ranking applicants based on a variety of academic and standardized test scores.
 
The following students received four-year, full-tuition Marion Burk Knott scholarships covering tuition at their parish elementary schools in grades five through eight:
 
Lachlan Barber, St. Mary’s Elementary, Annapolis; Victoria Endicott, St. John Regional, Frederick; Lyssa Kagel, Resurrection-St. Paul, Ellicott City; Bennett Rider, Cathedral of Mary Our Queen; Colleen Rogers, St. Joseph, Cockeysville; Benjamin Rohd, Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, Homeland; Margaret Sullivan, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Baynesville.
 
The following students received four-year, full tuition Marion Burk Knott or Marion I. and Henry J. Knott scholarships covering tuition at a Catholic high school for grades 9-12, with elementary or middle school listed first:
