The diocesan phase of the Holy Father’s Synod on Synodality has concluded. From November 2021-May 2022, parishes, individuals and others from throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore participated in the Synod by attending listening sessions and by submitting feedback online and in other ways. As a result, nearly 250 reports were received and analyzed, helping to form a 10-page synthesis that was submitted to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for inclusion in its report to the Holy See.

That report will inform the conversations that will occur in the next phase of the Synod, when the bishops gather in Rome in 2023. The entirety of the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s synthesis is available below in English and in Spanish. The Archdiocese is grateful to the many people who generously shared their time and insights and is eager to keeping the synodal spirit alive as we journey together, one family in faith!
