Tax Exemption Approval
A cathedraticum tax exemption for an approved fund-raising campaign may be granted for new construction, reconstruction or loss reconstruction to the extent not covered by insurance.
This exemption should be requested on the Archdiocesan Request Form and submitted to the Executive Director of the DMS.
The Archbishop, based on review and recommendation from the Executive Director of the DMS, must approve all requests for any tax exemption. Exemptions, unless otherwise approved, will be limited to one (1) campaign (maximum three (3) years) and one (1) campaign extension (maxiumum three (3) years).
